So after a day at the beach, everyone headed over to my Uncle Greg's house in Bakersfield for a pool party and bbq (June 11). As always, the kids swam and the adults just gabbed. It was fun and great to see everyone and catch up.
Brielle had loads of fun with my cousin's little girl (Mia) who is 6 days older than Brielle. Chandler had fun with my cousin's boy who is 5 months older than Chandler. A few funny moments....Brielle and Mia were holding hands and I asked what they were doing...Mia responded, "Teaching her not to be scared and how to be cute!" Also, I asked one of my cousin's sons how old he was and he responded, "Too young for you!" Hahahaha, too funny....he's 13! All in all, it was a great trip and much thanks to my Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Don for letting us stay at their home, and also to my cousin Cindy and her husband for having us over for a bbq and swimming!
