DISNEYLAND

Back in January Disney started a program called "Give a Day, Get a Day."  Basically, you had to go onto Disney's website, find a place to volunteer, sign up to volunteer, complete volunteer activity, and then Disney would send vouchers for a FREE DAY at Disney.  Well, the program was very popular and only lasted til early March, but we were lucky enough to complete our volunteer activity in time.  We tied blankets for Haiti.  I made Chandler and Billy tie their own blankets.  So, in return from our volunteering we got our FREE tickets!  SUWEET HUH!!!  Anyway, my mom and dad came out to visit the end of May to go on a horse riding trip and then to visit with us and head to California for a Family Reunion.  We went to Disneyland and used our tickets!  It was a GREAT day at Disneyland!  However, it didn't start out too great.  For some reason Stetson decided to throw the biggest fit EVER as soon as we got to the park.  We  arrived before it opened and had to wait in line to get through security, then again to exchange our vouchers into real tickets, waited again at the turnstiles, and again on Main Street.  The whole time Stetson was screaming and pitching a royal fit!  However, once in the park he was just fine!  We ran to Dumbo and caught the first ride of the day, then rode several other rides in Fantasyland.  My dad and Billy ran around all day getting Fastpasses and we didn't have to wait in line for more than about 15 minutes except for Peter Pan and for Brielle to see the Princesses which both were definitely worth it.  It was PRICELESS to see the joy on Brielle's face to see the Princesses.  She was even big enough to ride the Matterhorn and held her arms up the whole ride.  We had such a fun time!

All in all it was a GREAT day!  However, we left around 10pm, so missed out on the last 2 hours...haha!
